Our vision
A future where every young person is empowered to shape their community
Youth Education Services of America (YES America) envisions a fulfilling environment for every youth: an inclusive, thriving, participatory society where every young person, regardless of background or circumstance, has the opportunity, support, and resources to reach their full intellectual, social, emotional, and physical potential.
Our vision
No young person left out
We envision a future where all young people, especially those from underserved communities, are empowered to discover their strengths, develop their leadership abilities, and actively participate in shaping their communities and the future of American democracy.
We aspire to build a culture in which civic engagement, service-learning, community participation, and working for the common good are not merely individual choices, but shared values and essential responsibilities embraced by young people across America.
We believe that when young people are empowered, communities are strengthened, and democracy thrives. Through collaboration among youth, families, communities, educational institutions, and civic leaders, we envision an America where every young person has a meaningful voice, a sense of belonging, and the opportunity to contribute to a more equitable, inclusive, and prosperous future for all.
Our mission
Youth Education Services of America (YES America) is dedicated to empowering young people, particularly those from underserved communities, by providing inclusive educational opportunities, youth development programs, leadership training, service-learning experiences, and civic engagement initiatives that nurture their intellectual, social, emotional, and physical well-being.
We strive to ensure that every young person has the knowledge, skills, confidence, resources, and meaningful opportunities to discover their potential, develop their leadership abilities, exercise their voice, and actively participate in strengthening their communities and shaping the future of American democracy.
Through strategic partnerships with families, schools, community organizations, businesses, philanthropic institutions, and civic leaders, we mobilize resources and build collaborative relationships that expand opportunities for youth and promote equity, inclusion, responsible citizenship, and community development.
We are committed to fostering a culture in which service, civic participation, mutual respect, and working for the common good are shared values and essential practices. Through responsible stewardship of resources, evidence-informed programming, and continuous evaluation of our impact, YES America strives to create lasting opportunities for young people to thrive and become engaged citizens who contribute to a more inclusive, equitable, and prosperous society.
Our mission is to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to grow, the support to lead, the voice to participate, and the power to make a positive difference in their community and the nation.
